THE CROWN DIAMONDS PROCESS

The Crown Diamond process is unique. We want to give you the most accurate price and make sure that we insure your items for the right amount, so we ask that you fill out an initial valuation form. Don’t worry, it’s easy.

THE APPOINTMENT

Make an appointment to come and get an offer for your jewellery. Make sure to bring all necessary documents, such as Certificates for diamonds- as it makes a difference for the offer made.

THE EXPERT

Come in and show your goods to our expert.

THE OFFER

He will then see the items and all relevant documents and give you an offer on the spot. (there are times that the diamonds cannot be seen well in the setting, and will need to be removed. We take the customer with us to the setter to remove the diamonds with the customers consent).

THE CHEQUE

If you are happy with the offer given, we will write out a cheque for the full amount, take a copy of your driver’s license and make signed note of the sale taken place in our ‘second hand jewellery’ book.

THE CASH OUT

You are free to cash the cheque as soon as you have it. According to the ‘second hand sale’ regulations, you have 14 days for the same day to change your mind, return the cheque and take back your goods. After 14 days have passed, it is the buyers decision to return the goods or keep them.

THE SECURITY

If we are contacted by the police about a particular item, we have full consent to disclose all information of the sale including names and addresses.
